The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.

Access, Correction, and Deletion

Within the scope of applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You may contact us at any time regarding this or any further questions on the subject of personal data.

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You may contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have objected pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of interests must be carried out between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – aside from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

SSL and TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon in your browser bar.

If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

4. Registration and Sign-In with Google (Google OAuth)

For registration and sign-in to our app, we offer you the option of signing in with your existing Google account (Google OAuth / Google Sign-In). The provider of this service is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter "Google").

If you choose to sign in via Google, you will be redirected to Google's sign-in page. There you can sign in with your Google credentials and confirm the linking of your Google account with our app. As part of this linking, Google transmits the following data to us: your unique Google account ID, your email address including its verification status, your name, and the URL of your profile picture. We use this data exclusively to create and manage your user account and to authenticate you for future sign-ins. When the sign-in function is invoked, a connection to Google's servers is also established, through which Google may also collect your IP address and technical information about your device or browser.

The use of Google OAuth is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you grant by actively using the "Sign in with Google" button. You may revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future by removing the connection in your Google account's security settings. Insofar as processing is necessary for the performance of the usage agreement with us, e.g., for the provision and management of your user account, it is additionally based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

It cannot be ruled out that Google also transfers the data transmitted to it to the USA or other third countries outside the EU/EEA and processes it there. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is intended to ensure an adequate level of data protection — recognized by the European Commission — for processing in the USA.

For more information on how your data is handled, please see Google's privacy policy. There is no data processing agreement in place for the use of Google Sign-In, as Google processes the data as an independent controller in this respect.
